A CAREFUL START TO A PERSONAL FIT

How to measure.

ALL MEASUREMENTS IN CM

Use a soft tape measure, wear a fitted leotard and ask someone to help — especially with torso, shoulder and back measurements. Follow the reference points below rather than substituting another size chart.

Eight illustrated measurements: height, chest, waist, hips, torso girth, upper arm, shoulder width and back length. The written guide provides the full instructions.Open the full-size guide
Open the image to zoom in. The complete written instructions are also provided here.

A note on the tape allowanceFor circumference measurements, this supplier’s chart specifies a one-finger allowance: leave enough room to slide one finger gently side to side beneath the tape. This is specific to the supplier’s chart, not a universal sizing rule.

  1. Height

Stand barefoot and upright. Measure from the floor to the top of the head.

  2. Chest

Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape level.

  3. Waist

Children: measure around the body at navel level. Adults: measure around the narrowest part of the waist.

  4. Hips

Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

  5. Torso girth

Start at one shoulder. Pass the tape down the front, between the legs and up the back to the same shoulder. Measure the complete loop.

  6. Upper arm

    Measure around the upper arm.

  7. Shoulder width

Measure across the upper back between the prominent bony points of the shoulders.

  8. Back length

Measure down the centre of the back, from the prominent bone at the base of the neck to the point level with the navel.

Measurements are confirmed during your design consultation. Please send them directly to ENYA by email or WhatsApp when requested.

A LITTLE MORE TO KNOW

Before the
curtain rises.

Can I order a design shown here?

Choose “Enquire about this style” on a design you like. We will check availability, sizing and production options before confirming a quote. Gallery photographs are references, not a guarantee of stock or exact materials.

Can you make a completely new design?

Send us your inspiration and desired changes. We check what is achievable with the manufacturer before accepting a custom request. Not every design, alteration or material is available.

How do I send reference photos?

Complete the enquiry details, then open the email or WhatsApp draft. Attach your photos there and press Send. Images cannot be uploaded on this website. If your email app does not open, copy the enquiry text and paste it into a message to enyatutudancewear@gmail.com.

What will my costume cost, and how long will it take?

Pricing and timing depend on design, materials, decoration, measurements and production availability. Include your budget and needed-by date in the enquiry. We confirm the quote and estimated schedule before an order is accepted.

Can a teacher or school enquire for several dancers?

Yes. Please include the number of dancers, the occasion, preferred design and required date. We will discuss feasibility and provide a quote; group availability and terms are confirmed individually.

How do payment, delivery and alterations work?

These arrangements are agreed with you in writing before you place an order, including any delivery charges and applicable cancellation or alteration terms. This website is currently for enquiries; there is no online checkout.

How do you use the information I enter?

The form prepares a message in your chosen email app or WhatsApp and does not save entries on the website. You decide whether to send it. ENYA uses information you send to respond to your enquiry and discuss your order. Please use an adult’s contact details for a child and avoid unnecessary personal information.

Is a costume suitable for my competition?

Please confirm requirements with your teacher, choreographer or event organiser. We can discuss your requirements, but a gallery photograph does not establish competition approval.
